For this project, I worked in a group of four people to redesign the website of a local non-profit of our choosing. We decided on Sierra's Race, held in Loveland, Colorado.
Although the race holds considerable popularity in the area, its website required significant updates to meet modern usability standards. Navigating the existing site presented challenges, particularly when attempting to sign up for a race, donations, and other information. To address these issues, we began by creating a comprehensive site map and developing a new user flow to enhance accessibility. After brainstorming and ideating, we proceeded with the design of a UI kit and high-fidelity wireframes.
This project presented numerous milestones, including the revision of the UI kit and the optimization of the user flow to better serve our audience. Additionally, we incorporated e-commerce functionality to facilitate easier access to merchandise and upcoming races. I thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with my team, and blending our ideas to breathe new life into the website.
